Antony Harman, BEng MSc CEng MRINA

Naval Architect

After graduating with an MSc in Maritime Engineering Science from the University of Southampton, Antony began his career in the leisure craft industry, specialising in RCD compliance, stability and engineering design, working with craft varying from small sportscruisers to larger flybridge motor yachts.

He was then employed in the design office of one of the country's leading manufacturers of commercial rigid inflatable boats, working on the designs of bespoke vessels for a diverse range of clients and specialising in performance prediction and sea trial analysis.

Moving into the Search and Rescue field he worked for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), where he was responsible for the in service support of lifeboats and formed a part of the project team for a replacement lifeboat class.

Tjeerd Piket, BEng MSc AMRINA

Naval Architect

Tjeerd Piket is a Naval Architect with an MSc degree obtained at the University of Southampton. After graduation he joined a team of designers and naval architects at one of the leading yacht design firms in the UK, working on concept designs, manufacturing drawings and RCD compliance.

He then moved to work for a leading motor yacht manufacturer, where he was responsible for creating stability assessments and generating in depth stability reports.
